Six, who had just been searching through her mind trying to remember where she knew this type of vessel from, heard the swish of the Captain's ready room doors open. "Dropping to one quarter impulse, sir" She said, quickly dropping their speed. Rubbing the metal on her hand, a habit of hers when trying to think, she kept her eyes focused on the view screen. “Great now we are barely moving.” Giving up on the thought, for now, she tapped at her consol figuring she could be of some use. By seeing if she could make something what seemed to be a random EM pulse.
She knew of a few species that had scanners masked to look like random EM pulses but it didn't seem to apply in this situation. This vessels weapon’s may be powerful but it’s scanners were no where close to them. The temporary silence on the bridge that had been there was now gone, replaced with the buzz of everyone moving around. Talking across the bridge to each other, this was far from the collective, disorganized, inefficient, it was still hard to believe she had conformed to this but life was unpredictable, obviously.

Daniel’s hands danced across his console as he pulled up a status check. "They've charged weapons sir." Daniel reported before double checking "But they haven't locked on, their targeting sensors are heading towards us" Daniel turned to his Bounty screen and read the information.
"As for us, out torpedoes are loading and our phasers are warming up" Daniel reported and mentally swore as he read something "And that EM spike we picked up was a low level Electromagnetic Pulse, highly localized" Daniel turned to his main console and worked our the location. "Aimed at our Targeting Sensors" Daniel said "I will have to aim manually."

Commander Zeppelin followed the Captain out of the Ready Room and back onto the bridge. The ship was closing on screen. "Helm, distance between us and them."
"Fifteen thousand kilometers, and closing, fourteen." she added towards the end.
"Operations, re-route auxilary power to the..." Then he remembered no officer was there. "I'll do it." Manning the console again, he re-routed auxilary power to the targeting sensors. "Mr. Clark, targeting sensors are back online. Red Alert! All hands to battle stations!" He finished, moving away from Ops and sitting down in his chair once more.
"Captain, they obviously want to fight, but if we keep our weapons off them, they might talk first, give us a few extra seconds." Commander Zeppelin mentioned, interested in what was going on. "It's working sir, Lieutenant Clark, keep those weapons off."Communications was currently absent, so Zeppelin prepared to open a channel on the Captain's orders.
The ship just continued past them, no change in speed. "That was odd... Stand down Red Alert, stand-by battle stations." The Red lights turned off, and were replaced with the Yellow Alert ones instead. "I wonder why they readied their weapons... There may be an unforseen threat in this sector, I reccomend we go to Warp to avoid any more odd pirates Captain."

“I recommend we go to warp to avoid any more odd pirates Captain." Commander Zepplin said after the mysterious ship passed alongside the Bounty. “That was no pirate ship.” Captain Nelson said to himself, taking a seat on his command chair. “Tactical, transmit all information and sensor readings on that ship to Lieutenant Commander Valdora. Helm, engage warp five towards the nebula.”
The ship sped on towards their destination. “Commander, please take the operations station. We may require your experience.” He said, thinking about the mysterious ship. Suddenly, Hector remembered a conversation with Kathryn Janeway. After they had finished their mission, Captain Nelson would have to pay her a visit. She might be able to shed some light on this mysterious ship.
OCC: I would like to drop this mysterious ship for now. I’m going to bring it up again in a latter episode.

Lower in the bowels of the ships main hull was the somewhat darkened Intelligence Office, he had modified it this way for his own racial preferences. He could of course cope with standard luminosity, if of course it was artificial, but he felt more comfortable this way, more at home.
The somewhat standard office had been modified to his own needs also. Tactical, Visual and informative data passed over the many screens around the work desk of which had many beeping consoles. He worked here so often, so often away from others. His chair was at the middle of it, it could turn so that he may work the many panels. His long dark brown hair was tied back behind his ears in standard starfleet regulation fashion, his skin was closer to pure white than of any other race and his eyes had a fierce ice blue shine. Over his head he wore a headset of which he used for communication and audio information. Around him the yellow pulsed as he watched the visual of the ship with great intrigue, the data on it passing on the screen next to it. He began looking into tactical data, just incase. The data began coming in faster now as a link with ops was made. "Valdora to Ops, I am receiving data."

Jade had been watching this on a monitor but now that there seemed to be no threat she had returned to her work of preparing the ship to enter the somewhat unstable nebula from their previous scans. The USS Typhon disappeared here along with reports of many other vessels so one could never be to careful. She moved the hair from her face and tied it back.
"Alright get that forcefield up" she ordered and watching the blue shimmer engulf around the warp core. She walked forward monitoring it from the station.
"I will be on the bridge Ensign" she told him and walked across the vast space and down a step to the door. Passing a college in corridor with a nod she got thinking about what this mission in this vast new quadrant would bring. She hoped not this species 8472 they had heard about.
After a few moments in the turbo lift she stepped out onto the bridge and took the engineering station. "The hull is as reinforced as it can get Captain" she reported.

As the ship approched the Nebula Daniel scanned for any ships nearby the nebula. He couldn't see anything. But as he rested his hands on his console he couldn't help but think this was going to end badly. Daniel decided to run a diognostic on the ships Tactical systems.
As the Systems check was running. He watched as the conputer began to aquire Data from all of the ships systems. Daniel looked over to the Capatin. "Captain, sir what alert Level would you like us to run at?" Daniel asked ready to press either button awaiting the Captains responce.

“Commander, please take the operations station. We may require your experience.” "Aye sir." Zeppelin manned Ops for now, but made a mental note to find out who on the bridge had Operations experience, so that this didn't become ruotine.
"Captain, sir what alert Level would you like us to run at?"
Zeppelin was confused by the Lieutenant's question. It was most odd, we were currently at green alert. They wouldn't need to go to yellow alert untill they had entered the nebula. Of course, the moment they did, and if the shields weren't up, the hull may begin to corrode under the undefined gases in the nebula.
"Captain, we're now entering the Nebula, Yellow Alert, shields up." The turbulance was felt as the gases collidided with the ships shields. "All probes are standing by, Mr. Clark confirm that probes are ready to launch from torpedo bays please. Begining scan of the Nebula." Zeppelin pointed out.
As the scan progressed, starfleet hull signatures were the main orientation of the sensors at the time. Luckily they found one. "Captain, one Starfleet vessel identified... It's the minsk sir. She'd lost life support on most decks, main power seems to be offline. If I take a few engineers over, we may be able to restore the ships thrusters, perhaps impulse, get her our of the nebula before she's too corroded. With her shields down sir, she isn't going to last even another hour." he pointed out, greatly concerned for the ship and crew that were trapped in the adrift vessel. "Should I hail them sir?" he asked, ready to hail the adrift ship, although not hopeful of the outcome, it was unlikely they'd respond.

The view screened showed a ship that seemed like it had been beaten terribly. "Should I hail them sir?" Commander Zepplin asked, his voice not showing hopefulness. “Open a channel. USS Minsk, this is Captain Hector Nelson of the USS Bounty. Come in Captain.” There was no response for a few seconds. “Red Alert.” The captain said quietly, still waiting for a response.
Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, a ship appeared directly behind the Minsk and fired. “Clark! Fire!” Stepping out of his command ship, Nelsons said, “Helm, move us in front of the Minsk for protection. Commander, beam any life signs onboard!”

OOC: I know its irregular for my position to make such a report. But as this is my epi idea, I kinda wanted the nebula to be a threat so wallah...
IC:
Valdora frowned at the results he was seeing, this nebula was unlike anything he had seen. It was corrosive to hulls and shields. Inside it targeting and tactical seemed to be a mess, A message he soon passed on to Clark via text.
As the ship was struck Valdora buckled. "Captain, this is Intelligence. Sir from the scans I have received from the probes it appears the shields are only at 20%, our targeting scanners are miss aligned and we are receiving a drain on power. Can you confirm Ops?" Spoke the Valen in his accent.

Daniel nodded and pressed the button to initiate Red Alert and watched the Bridge as the Lghts turned Red and began flashing. He powered up the Phasers and gave orders on his console for Quantem Torpedos to be armed. Daniel aknowleded Valdoras message and tried to make adjustments.
Daniel kept a steady eye on the screen and gasped softly as a ship appeared. Suddenly the ship fired on the bounty. Daniel sent power to the forward sheilds and held to the hand rail on his console as the ship was hit. "Clark Fire" The Captain called.
Daniel maunly locked onto the ship and fired a Stream of Quantem Torpedos at the ship. "Sheilds at 92%" Daniel Reported "Medium damage to the Enemy ship, that things got heavy sheilds to stand up to a Quantem Torpedo Barrage.
The Captain ordered the ship behind the Minsk. "Captain, we should have a Security Team at teh Transporter room in case those suriviors cause trouble" Daniel said alloweing his Secret Service Instinct to get the better of him.

"Captain, this is Intelligence. Sir from the scans I have received from the probes it appears the shields are only at 20%, our targeting scanners are miss aligned and we are receiving a drain on power. Can you confirm Ops?"
"Acknowledged.... Intel." Zeppelin stated, confused why Intel was involved. "Captain, his sensors are incorrect, shields are stilll up at 97%, the Nebula seems to be doing more damage than the shots from the hostile vessel." Zeppelin noted, doing further scans.
"Captain, we should have a Security Team at teh Transporter room in case those suriviors cause trouble"
"No! Mr. Clark..." The ship shook again. "We cannot lower the shields, worry about that later. Shields holding, at 18%, diverting auxilary power to shields!" he called just as the ship shook again. "Sir, my sensors can't penetrate the Minsk in this Nebula, we need to get them out of the Nebula before we can even determine if there's life on board." he rocked at his console, yet again. "But I think we can all agree this takes priority." he finished, turning back to man his station.

Daniel ran his hands across his console endeavouring to keep a target lock on the other ship. He fired a the ships Ventral phasers at the opposing ship. The Bounty was rocked again. "Forward sheilds are buckleing captain" Daniel reported urgently as he attempted to transfer power, but was unable to "We should try to keep our aft to the enemy"
As the ship moved its forward point away from the enemy a torpedo fired from the enemy ship smashed into the forward sheilds. "Forward sheilds down Captain" Daniel called as he held onto his hand rail" Daniel sent all the extra Power that Tactical had to try and get the forward sheilds back up/

"No! Mr. Clark..." The ship shook again. "We cannot lower the shields, worry about that later. Shields holding, at 18%, diverting auxiliary power to shields!" Connor called just as the ship shook again.
“Delay that order!” Captain Nelson said harshly, standing up now. “Keep our aft to the enemy ship and move us right up against the Minsk. You’ll get able to lock onto life signs at that range.”
The ship shock again and there were loud cracks and explosions. Now addressing to entire bridge staff, Hector called, “Our priority is to save as many lives aboard that Federation Ship as possible.” Turning to the Commander, Hector called, “Is that clear?

As the Captain made his orders clear, Daniel prepereed to lower the sheilds for the time it took to rescue. He slid his hands over to the internal ship deploymant grid. "WOuld you agree with a Secucrity team down their captain" Daniel asked keeping his hand over the deployment button.
As Daniel waited for the Captains reply Daniel fired another brace of Torpedos at the Enemy ship. The blue orbs soared from the saucer of the Bounty and into the sheilds of the enemy ship.
